BEAGLE, an EU-funded project applying the Blue Ocean Strategy to research results, is now launching Open Call #1. This is a unique chance for industry makers to identify new business opportunities in untapped markets.
What is BEAGLE?
BEAGLE is an innovative project that aims to unlock value by exploring new market niches (referred to as Blue Oceans) and fostering sustainable value chains. Over three years, BEAGLE will bring together experts from academia, industry, and technology centers to co-create 20 actionable innovation proposals across 12 new market niches.
Unlocking Innovation in Untapped Markets
Through two open calls, BEAGLE will recruit both industry makers and academic innovators to work together in Mixed Teams to co-create innovative solutions. The first call (OC#1) focuses on recruiting industry makers to identify business opportunities in 12 key market niches, while the second call (OC#2) will focus on recruiting academic innovators to propose solutions for those opportunities.
BEAGLE Open Call #1: Key Details
Open Call #1 seeks to recruit 120 industry makers to identify business and market innovation opportunities. Participants will develop video factsheets for 12 market niches, providing valuable insights into industry needs. These video factsheets will then be used to recruit academic innovators (via Open Call #2) to propose solutions to the identified challenges.
