About the BEAGLE project
BEAGLE proposes an innovative methodology for value creation from the uptake of the research results applying the Blue Ocean strategy.
It explores new market niches by fostering sustainable value chains in untapped markets, while promoting disruptive synergies and innovation.
Over the three years of the project, our mission is to construct a network of interdisciplinary experts and industry stakeholders to uncover 12 new thematic market niches, known as Blue Oceans, and co-create 20 innovation proposals with specific roadmaps.

BEAGLE Progress Update: Matching Phase Near Completion
The BEAGLE is entering a decisive phase. Our Mixed Teams expert committee
is now finalising the evaluations of the current matching stage, a crucial step in
shaping the future collaborations that will drive innovation across industry and
academia.

Where Tradition Meets Innovation: Consortium Meeting in Pilsen
On 5–6 February 2026, the BEAGLE consortium gathered in Pilsen, Czech Republic, hosted by the University of West Bohemia. As we enter the final year of the project, the meeting was a key opportunity to review our progress, assess our work across various packages, and sharpen our focus on the next steps.

Science for All: The BEAGLE Project at EuropeanResearchers’ Night!
On September 27th, the BEAGLE project made a huge impact at the European Researchers’ Night in Tarragona, Spain, an inspiring event that simultaneously lights up 300 cities across 30 European countries. Hosted locally by the Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV), this festival of science embodies its motto: “Research for Change.”
