The BEAGLE is entering a decisive phase. Our Mixed Teams expert committee is now finalising the evaluations of the current matching stage, a crucial step in shaping the future collaborations that will drive innovation across industry and academia.
In this phase, 60 VFS representing innovation demand from industry and 60 VFS representing innovation offer from academia, all selected in earlier rounds, are being assessed to identify the strongest potential synergies. From this group, 40 promising connections will be formed, each representing a unique
opportunity to bridge real industrial needs with academic expertise.
As we move forward, the next steps are already in motion. At the beginning of April, we will start contacting the selected participants to share the results of the matching phase. Following this, throughout April and May, we will work closely with the matched teams to consolidate their connections through bilateral meetings. These interactions will help refine the collaboration potential and ensure alignment between industry innovation demand and researchers’ innovation proposals.
At the end of this process, 20 final connections will be selected to receive support and expert input and finalised as 20 Action Plans, which will serve as the foundation for preparing future project proposals seeking EU fundings.
We’re excited to see these collaborations take shape. Stay tuned, more updates are coming as BEAGLE continues to advance toward impactful,
innovation-driven outcomes.
