Science for All: The BEAGLE Project at EuropeanResearchers’ Night!

European Researchers' Night

On September 27th, the BEAGLE project made a huge impact at the European Researchers’ Night in Tarragona, Spain, an inspiring event that simultaneously lights up 300 cities across 30 European countries. Hosted locally by the BEAGLE project coordinator Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV), this festival of science embodies its motto: “Research for Change.”

Our partners from URV, including Xiaoni Li and Yin Shi, brilliantly presented the BEAGLE methodology, but the real highlight was the hands-on fun! We engaged participants of all ages: children, teenagers, and adults in a creative activity using an interactive board game. Participants rolled dice and tackled innovation challenges, such as inventing a magical ice cream flavor, designing a unique robot, or creating new game rules.

The response was overwhelmingly positive across all age groups! The interactive format made the complex concept of Blue Ocean Strategy tangible and enjoyable for everyone, proving that innovation knows no age limit.

We extend a huge thank you to our amazing URV team for connecting the BEAGLE project with the public in such an inspiring and direct way.
