BEAGLE proposes an innovative methodology for value creation from the uptake of the research results applying the Blue Ocean Strategy (BOS). This ambition is materialised through a co‑creation experiment addressing 12 promising market niches. Within this framework, CTAG plays a central role by leading the Mixed Teams (MTs) that drive collaboration, coordination, and results generation.
Facilitators ensure structure, alignment, and progress, while makers actively contribute to defining innovation challenges and solutions from both the industrial and academic perspectives. This approach ensures that innovation arises from real market needs while being supported by strong research and technological capabilities.
A total of twelve permanent Mixed Teams were established, one for each target market niche. These MTs are tasked with recruiting makers, enabling co‑creation, generating cross‑sector connections, and delivering action plans that demonstrate the adoption of BOS in innovation pathways. Makers contribute by identifying innovation demand from the industry side and shaping innovation offer from the academic side, creating a balanced and market‑relevant innovation dynamic.
CTAG’s leadership is key to transforming collaboration into concrete outcomes. By bridging academia, industry, and clusters, CTAG ensures that the MTs remain focused on practical impact, feasibility, and scalability. Its intermediary role allows BEAGLE to move beyond experimentation, turning BOS into actionable tools that support innovation decision‑making.
Through its coordination of the Mixed Teams, CTAG strengthens BEAGLE’s capacity to deliver structured, demand‑driven innovation, positioning the project as a reference model for co‑creation in emerging market niches and for the effective adoption of BOS in real‑world innovation ecosystems.
