The BEAGLE consortium met in Paris on February 6-7, 2025, hosted by our fantastic partners at NextMove.
It was an excellent opportunity to connect, reflect on our progress, and refine our approach as we move forward with the project. In person meetings are always a great chance to revisit our achievements and align our strategies for the next steps.
This time, the focus was on Open Call #1 for industry participants, aimed at fostering collaboration between industry and academia through a unique co-creation experiment. By leveraging the Blue Ocean Strategy, our goal is to unlock new market opportunities and drive sustainable business growth across Europe.
Over the project duration, BEAGLE will bring together interdisciplinary experts and industry stakeholders to identify 12 new thematic market niches and co-create 20 innovation proposals. Applicants selected for Open Call #1 will be supported with training, mentorship, and guidance to help turn their ideas into actionable innovations.
During the meeting, we also discussed the best strategies to implement the BEAGLE co-creation experiment efficiently, ensuring a seamless exchange of knowledge between academia and industry.
Having successfully completed and closed Open Call #1, we’ve realised that the true strength lies in teamwork and collaboration.
