BEAGLE, an EU-funded project harnessing the Blue Ocean Strategy to transform research results into market innovation, announces the launch of Open Call #2. This initiative invites researchers, academics, and technology center experts to drive the development of innovative solutions for industry demands identified in BEAGLE’s successful Open Call #1.
What is BEAGLE?
BEAGLE is an innovative project that aims to unlock value by exploring new market niches (referred to as Blue Oceans) and fostering sustainable value chains. Over three years, BEAGLE will bring together experts from academia, industry, and technology centre to co-create 20 actionable innovation proposals across 12 new market niches.
Building on Industry Insights
BEAGLE’s Open Call #1 engaged industry leaders to pinpoint key business opportunities within 12 high-potential market niches. Open Call #2 builds upon this foundation by recruiting researchers and academia innovators to collaborate and propose solutions that directly address these identified needs, bridging the gap between research and real-world application.
Open Call #2 for Innovators: Drive Solution Development
BEAGLE Open Call #2 seeks to recruit 120 professors, researchers, and technology center professionals to participate in a dynamic co-creation process. Participants will form Mixed Teams to develop video factsheets, each detailing a proposed solution to the industry demands outlined in Open Call #1.
